Reviews From AMAZON.COM

Its a starter book for aspiring dba's

Liked the book since it covered all the topics in a planned manner..by starting to explain what the topic is..explaining the topic by providing scripts..and then concluding with how!

Would Have Been Better IF....

I noticed a few comments about the proofreading (or lack of). I didn't have to look far to find errors. There are a lot of screen shots that are misplaced. All of the comments regarding this book being focused on NT are true. This book doesn't pretend to be for the UNIX crowd. For those of us who have to know both, this book has its place. I haven't found any blatent technical misstatements, but I haven't gone too far either. In short, this would have been a four-and-a-half star book if they had spent an extra hour making sure the scrrenshots matched the captions.
